Second task- Microsoft Office Word...

Today we have learned about the background as well as the history of CALL. So as for our in-class task, we have been assigned with a task that acquire us to design an activity in school that require students to adapt with Microsoft Office Word application. There are a lot of features of Microsoft Word such as copy and paste, underline, highlight and so on that can be used and applied for students. So to accomplish this mission, I have designed an activity for standard six students. A very simple activity, but full with picture as a way to catalyze students' attention in doing their work........................

For this activity, students just only have to copy and paste the pictures provided into right box. Look so easy, but at the same time students can enhance their memory.

2. So, how would i rate myself in computer skills? Well, i'm not the one who can rate my skills in computer illiteration. Whatever it is, I have to and totally we have to be down to earth.. I dont want to classify myself in expert group, and i also dont want to be in noob group. So, it is ok for me to rate myself as novice computer user. Fair enough right. Maybe i know a lot of things about computer but i believe that there are so many more things that i do not know about computer.

3. Regarding on software, frankly say i dont have wide knowledge in software. But for hardware, i can say that i know each part of computer and the function of each of the hardware.

4. Yes, i have the experience. So many times..

5. That is what i want to do, incorporate technology into teaching and learning. Unfortunately, there are some obstacles that hinder me to do so. And of course, the problem comes from the equipment. If i want to use computer for teaching purpose, i have to book some room, and to book the room is another problem. So i decided not to incorporate technology in the class.

6. In my opinion, there are a lot of advantages by using computer and technology in language class. Most importantly, i would say that technology is able to enhance our performance as a teacher. Teacher can use a lot of interactive method and material by using technology and computer, and the reason is vitally to attract the students towards the language class.

7. Just like everybody, i hope that i can perform well in this subject for betterment. This is a good subject, where everybody will have to open their eyes towards the latest technology. So there is no excuse for everyone to not performing well in this subject throughout this semester.
